Watchmen was a phenomenon?

At a time when superhero movies' as beating, one does not stop wondering: Why Watchmen were given phenomenon?

Nine (Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson)- Director(es): Rob Marshall - IMDB Rating: 6.2 - Rottentomatoes Rating: 36% (It has a game, great-looking cast, led by the always worthwhile Daniel Day-Lewis, but Rob Marshall's Nine is chaotic and curiously distant.)
